Holiday Container Arrangements and Wreaths

Holiday Containers and Wreaths are hand-crafted with fresh evergreen boughs and an assortment of weather resistant decorations. All fresh greens have been treated with “Wilt-Pruf” to help lock in moisture. To keep the Greens fresh and extend the life of your arrangement, follow these guidelines:

  • Keep potting soil damp (not soggy) by watering with a watering can or gentle spray nozzle on your garden hose
  • Mist the greens with a handheld spray bottle.  Misting will add some moisture and often refreshes the aromatic scent of the greens.
  • Keep containers and wreaths out of direct sunlight & wind locations as much as possible.
  • Gently brush off any accumulated snow.
  • If any greens become dislodged, simply push the branch back into the soil or wreath clamp.

Spring, Summer, & Fall Container Arrangements

Each custom arrangement contains plant materials carefully selected for health, vigor, and aesthetic.  Arrangements may contain a combination of Annuals, Perennials, Grasses, Tropicals, and artificial decorations. Follow these guidelines to help your arrangement perform its best:

  • Light Requirements:
    • Sun Loving:  6+ hours of full sun
    • Shade Loving: up to 4 hours of morning sun.
  • Watering:
    • Water the arrangements slowly by placing water nozzle under foliage and near the soil.  The foliage/flowers do not need to be wet – just the soil.
    • Water when the top 2 inches of soil feel dry to the touch and allow water to run out of the bottom of the pot.
    • If soil becomes excessively dry – water the arrangement until water runs out of the bottom.  Wait 15-20 minutes.  Water AGAIN. Wait 15-20 minutes. And water AGAIN.
  • Fertilization and Pruning:
    • Slow-release fertilizer was incorporated into the soil at the time of planting.  Apply a quick-release fertilizer according to package instructions during the growing season.
    • Prune and deadhead as necessary to keep plants tidy. Arrangements will benefit from a nice “haircut” mid-season.
    • Remove any broken, dead, or dying plant material as soon as possible.
